Alex S. Palmer & Company recently won a nationwide competition to develop, own, and lease back to the General Services Administration, a new FBI headquarters class-A office building and secure parking garage, in Denver, Colorado. The Alex S. Palmer & Company team included Skidmore Owings and Merrill, Architects of Chicago, IL and Anderson Mason and Dale, Architects of Denver, Colorado.

The 185,000 square foot building will feature modern facade consisting of laminated glass and numerous high technology systems that will enable the Federal Bureau of Investigation to perform its mission. The facility will be located on a 10-acre site in Stapleton, a suburb of Denver, and the project will also include a parking structure for 350 cars.

The Alex S. Palmer & Company team is presently working with GSA and FBI on design refinement issues and preparing construction documents. Excavation and site utility work is scheduled to begin during the summer of 2008, and FBI will occupy the building prior to the end of 2009.
